Is there a better way to connect with people than by sharing what I feel most passionate about?
My goal is to publish short articles about different topics that might interest you and/or help you decide if you need to seek professional help or not. The articles I intend to write will never replace a counselling session. They will not replace my professional opinion or any specific help I can provide after listening to your story.
However, they might still provide you with some valuable insights, suggestions that might be helpful to you, comfort because you feel understood, or something to think about. This is why I will share my thoughts, some advice, break down interesting scientific findings, and infos on different topics here.
Feel free to comment on any article or suggest new topics in the comment section!
What you will find on my blog
You will mostly, but not exclusively, find articles about the following topics:
- immigrant* mental health
- anxiety
- setting boundaries
- acceptance
- emotional abuse
- mindfulness
Why these topics? Because those are the things I feel most passionate about and come across most often in my work. Whatever comes next will also depend on your suggestions and inspiration that comes along the way!
Are you ready to go on this new adventure with me?
I used the term adventure and I mean it. Blogging is not something I have ever done before so it is linked to a lot of apprehension on my part. But also excitment. This is a space for you to explore new topics or read about things you are interested in. It is a space where you can share your ideas in the comment section and we can interact!
Let me know in the comments if you have ever blogged and/or are also doing something you have never done before!

*I chose the word immigrant instead of expat because the latter has a racist connotation as it is mostly used to describe wealthy, white people living abroad. However, I want this topic to address and include all people who are living abroad, as this often brings very specific challenges.
Inspiring ! Will try writing down my own letter.
